Videomaster

Founded in London in 1974, Videomaster went straight for the home videogaming market, producing some of the first original home consoles since the Magnavox Odyssey came out two years prior. While initially successful, Videomaster never transitioned to the 2nd generation of videogames and eventually lost dominance in the UK. In 1979 they would be bought out by the card & board game company Waddingtons, but would never again make a home videogame console.
